The Division of Community and Population Health provides compassionate and culturally sensitive clinical services to families and individuals through its Ambulatory Care Network in Manhattan, which includes: Primary care sites, School-based health centers, Mental health school-based programs and Specialty practices Administrative Intern – Ambulatory Care Network – Columbia - 12 week Internship Under the supervision of a Program Director/Director, performs miscellaneous project work in various operational departments to learn and observe the hospital environment and become familiar with hospital operations and the work being done in the Community Health programs of the Division of Community and Population Health. In this role, you will work on workflow processes, making recommendations for improvements. May perform routine clerical work for assigned departments. Completes project work assigned by various operational departments. Gather statistics for analysis of operational procedures. Assembles and analyzes information, data and opinions from various sources; prepares narrative and statistical summaries and apprises immediate leadership of results. Prepares and reviews reports.
