As an Administrative Program Coordinator II, you will be responsible for the Fellowship programs in Infectious Disease, Infectious Disease Transplant, Breast Pathology, Genitourinary Pathology, and Soft Tissue and Bone Surgical Pathology. In this role, you will serve as the primary contact for fellows and support both routine administrative tasks, such as expense reports and scheduling, and larger program initiatives including recruitment, graduation activities, retention efforts, and Infectious Disease consult coordination. The position involves significant project management, requiring you to oversee various projects, identify improvement opportunities, and enhance departmental efficiency and cohesion. This role provides direct support to trainees and future staff members and contributes to institutional accreditation efforts. A caregiver in this role works days from 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. After the new hire period, there is an opportunity for a hybrid schedule, with up to two remote workdays per week, depending on business needs.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree and three years of administrative or project management experience OR High School Diploma/GED and five years of experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and one year of experience
  • Strong computer skills and experience with software applications
  • May require a license based on department/institute needs
  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field
  • Healthcare or related organization experience
  • Skills with Microsoft Suite (Teams, Office, Powerpoint, Excel)

Responsibilities

  • Assist department leadership with large or complex projects.
