The Administrative Services Assistant is responsible for a wide range of procurement, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, cashiering, and administrative services at a Community College. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Under the direction of the Director or Associate Director of Finance and Administrative Services or other administrator, the Administrative Services Assistant is accountable for the effective performance in these essential functional areas: Key responsibilities include: Procurement and accounts payable Accounts Receivable and cashiering Scheduling events and facilities Inventory/asset management Additional responsibilities include: Attendance and participation at convocation and commencement ceremonies Service on assigned committees and task forces Attendance and participation at committee, staff, informational and professional meetings which may occur during evenings and weekends.
