First Merchants Bank is seeking an Administrative Specialist - Loan Operations to join our team! This position will provide administrative and operational support to Loan Operations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Perform general administrative duties associated with projects or routine tasks as assigned by management within the department Distribute, sort, and process incoming and returned mail pieces. Support the Commercial Loan Operations Change Communications (CLOCCs) team by providing administrative support including but not limited to answering calls from internal customers and responding to inquires/questions via case ticketing systems. Maintain all Loan Operations internal Launchpad sites. Provide support to Loan Operations through the onboarding processes and training experience for new hires. Assist with drafting and distribution of newsletters and communications. Review loan packets and extract original documents for retention and file according to retention standards. Act in a backup role for the department’s Receptionist. Maintain paper and electronic filing systems. To be successful in this position, we require the following: High school diploma or equivalent (GED). A minimum of three (3) years of related experience. The following would be a plus: Associate degree in business, finance or related field of study. Experience working in a multi-department administrative role. Microsoft Word and Excel experience.
