Day to day as a Administrator - Long Term Care The Administrator a plays a pivotal role in overseeing the facility's day-to-day operations with a focus on budgeting, staffing, and regulatory compliance. This position requires strong leadership skills to provide supervision for quality nursing care, as well as to ensure the hiring and training of personnel to deliver exceptional resident care. The Administrator will also manage financial aspects, including budget planning, accounting, and negotiating for facility improvements. By establishing and enforcing operational policies that align with national, state, and local standards, the Administrator ensures a high standard of care. A current Iowa Administrator's license without restrictions is essential, along with First Aid and CPR certification. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate at least one year of administrative and supervisory capabilities.
