The Per Diem Administrator on Duty (AOD) is responsible for supporting health, safety, and overall functioning of the residential program during assigned shifts. This includes monitoring program delivery, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maintaining professional standards of care. While not a supervisory role, the per diem AOD is expected to provide on-the-ground support to direct care staff, assist in resolving issues that arise during the shift, and escalate concerns appropriately. In the absence of full-time leadership (e.g., Assistant Residential Directors or Residential Director), the AOD serves as the point person for coordination and communication. This position plays a key role in maintaining continuity of care and ensuring youth and staff safety during non-standard hours, weekends or holidays.
