About The Position

A senior living community is seeking a strong Administrator to oversee day-to-day operations, regulatory compliance, and staff management. The Administrator is responsible for operational stability, staff oversight, survey readiness, and resident satisfaction. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both compliance knowledge and people management skills.

Requirements

  • Prior management experience in assisted living, adult home, or long-term care required
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in healthcare settings
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable working fully on-site

  • LNHA license preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all departments within the community
  • Hire, supervise, evaluate, and retain staff
  • Maintain compliance with NYS Department of Health regulations
  • Prepare for and lead state surveys, inspections, and audits
  • Monitor occupancy and support census growth initiatives
  • Manage resident documentation and operational records
  • Address escalations and performance concerns
  • Partner with corporate leadership on reporting and strategy
