About The Position

Embark Behavioral Health is hiring an Admissions Coordinator to manage the intake process for families pursuing residential treatment for their teenagers. In this role, you’ll be a key point of contact for caregivers during a critical moment in their journey, helping them navigate options and take the next step toward care. You’ll coordinate with internal teams, manage high call volumes, and ensure admissions are completed accurately and on time. Your work directly influences access to treatment, making a measurable difference in the lives of youth and their families. Join us at Embark at our Short-term Residential Treatment Program in San Martin, where Behavioral Health Associates offer guidance and support to adolescents and their families. Serving teen girls and boys (gender fluid) ages 12 – 17, experiencing and struggling with school refusal, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, suicidal ideation and other mental health issues. Pre-teens and teens reside at our Residential Treatment Center in our comfortable family-style residence, where community and interpersonal relationships are fostered and encouraged.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D
  • Experience in mental health or behavioral health setting
  • 1–2 years of experience in sales, inside sales, customer service, call center, or admissions role (bonus if in healthcare, SaaS, or medical sales).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)

  • Comfort handling sensitive conversations with professionalism and urgency.
  • Familiarity with DSM-V and behavioral health terminology
  • Personable, empathetic, and professional while working with families in crisis

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial admissions touchpoint, converting inbound leads into clients through persuasive, empathetic communication.
  • Conduct discovery calls to assess needs and present Embark’s treatment options as tailored solutions.
  • Drive conversion by proactively following up with leads and managing the full admissions pipeline—from inquiry to intake.
  • Use CRM software (Salesforce) to track sales activity, ensure lead follow-up, and maintain pipeline integrity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (clinical, insurance, intake) to ensure a seamless, high-converting client journey.
  • Address objections and overcome barriers to care using strategic problem-solving and sales techniques.
  • Exceed daily/weekly KPIs for calls, follow-ups, and conversions—your success directly impacts lives and revenue.
