About the position

The Office of Enrollment Management is seeking a temporary position to facilitate communication to prospective Biola University undergraduate students through effective copywriting and strategizing for both print and digital media. This role is supervised by the Associate Director of Admissions Marketing and is expected to last up to 4 months, with a maximum of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and edit copy for print and digital communication to prospective undergraduate students.
  • Coordinate print jobs with University Communications and Marketing (UCM), including timely edits to copy and design.
  • Assist in efforts to engage prospective students on digital platforms, including social media captions, email, and texting.
  • Assist the Biola Admissions Marketing, TUG Admissions, and Admissions Events teams in various assignments and tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience in copywriting, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Well-organized and able to coordinate multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously.
  • Diligent with good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Willingness to maintain a professional commitment to the job throughout the assignment period.
