About The Position

The University of Florida is seeking an Admissions Officer II to support UF Online Enrollment Services in advancing the university’s recruitment and enrollment goals. In this role, you will evaluate academic credentials, apply admissions policies with sound professional judgment, and help applicants navigate the admissions process. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Application Review & Credential Evaluation Conduct criteria-based and holistic reviews of applications. Calculate high school and college GPAs and assess prerequisite coursework. Apply professional judgment to identify academic concerns and escalate when needed. Render admissions decisions for designated programs and refer select cases to colleges. Review and evaluate all submitted documentation to determine file completeness. Maintain knowledge of majors, degrees, program levels, and admissions requirements. Review international academic credentials and communicate requirements to applicants. Application Processing, Documentation, & Data Management Perform initial processing of applications across varied applicant types. Evaluate immigration documents and apply Florida Residency for Tuition Purposes regulations. Manage and reconcile application data in Slate and Campus Solutions. Ensure accuracy and consistency of records across systems. Support, Training, & Escalated Case Management Provide guidance to staff on escalated admissions inquiries via phone or email. Address complex or challenging admissions situations escalated by staff or advisors. Participate in cross‑functional events, admissions committees, and Q&A sessions. Assist in developing reference materials and training resources for staff. Engage in ongoing professional development related to enrollment management, financial aid regulations, and university policies. Other Duties Support additional office functions as assigned. Participate in occasional travel for recruitment or professional development.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.
