Location: 420 Whitney Pl, Fremont, CA 94539 Schedule: Monday and Wednesday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Occasional Saturdays Compensation: Up to $34/hour , based on experience and qualifications Do you love being on the phone? About the Role We are seeking a results-driven, student-focused Admissions Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and skilled at guiding prospective students toward informed, life-changing academic decisions. As an Admissions Representative, you will connect students with programs that support their goals while consistently meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) related to outreach volume, contact-to-appointment conversion, application completion, and enrollment success. This dynamic role requires communication skills, a positive attitude, and delivery of exceptional service in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proven experience in sales or customer service, with a track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs such as conversion rates, outreach goals, and closing ratios
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, willing to learn new systems
  • A positive, team-oriented approach and willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Associates' or higher degree preferred
  • One or more years of admissions experience in a proprietary (for profit), post-secondary educational setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate prospective students for enrollment eligibility and program fit
  • Conduct outreach through phone calls, emails, and in-person or virtual meetings to support applicants through each step of the admissions process
  • Achieve and maintain enrollment goals by leading through personal performance
  • Guide students from initial inquiry to enrollment, including appointment setting, interviews, application assistance, and follow-up
  • Track student application status and ensure completion of required documentation
  • Assist with recruitment events such as open houses and career fairs
