Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in admissions, enrollment management, or a related administrative role.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with database management and standard office software.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in higher education admissions or student services.
  • Familiarity with student information systems such as Banner or PeopleSoft.
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to student admissions and privacy.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process student applications, ensuring all required documents are complete and accurate.
  • Communicate with prospective students and their families to provide information about admission requirements, deadlines, and procedures.
  • Coordinate with academic departments to verify applicant eligibility and program-specific criteria.
  • Maintain and update the admissions database to track application status and enrollment metrics.
  • Assist in organizing and participating in recruitment events, open houses, and informational sessions.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings to support prospective students.
  • Prepare admission decision letters and related correspondence in accordance with institutional policies.
  • Collaborate with financial aid and registrar offices to facilitate a smooth transition for admitted students.
