About The Position

The Admitting Coordinator II is responsible for scheduling exams, verifying insurance information, pre-admitting, registration of patients, obtaining patient demographic information for the Breast Imaging Center (BIC).

Requirements

  • High School graduate or GED equivalency
  • 1-2 years customer service or medical office experience
  • Knowledge of special programs and promotions unique to the BIC
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Proficient reading, writing, grammar and math skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Basic computer skills
  • Phone etiquette
  • Teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of breast center preferred
