About The Position
The Admitting Representative ensures timely and accurate registration of all patients and is responsible for insurance benefit verification/certification and collecting the patient's anticipated financial responsibility at the time of service as applicable. Exemplifies excellent customer service at all times.
Requirements
- HSD or GED
- 1 year related experience in health insurance field or two years hospital registration experience required
- Excellent customer service skills, effective interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Employee must possess the ability to organize and prioritize work; must be detail oriented
Nice To Haves
- Associate's Degree in healthcare related field preferred
- Direct experience in hospital precertification and benefit/eligibility verification desired
