The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Central Wisconsin (ADRC-CW) is a regional organization serving older and disabled adults in the four-county region of Langlade, Lincoln, Marathon, and Wood Counties. Services provided include information and assistance, options counseling, enrollment into publicly-funded long-term care programs, benefits counseling, elderly nutrition program, caregiver support, healthy living programs, and other services that are integrated to meet the mission of the ADRC-CW. The mission of the ADRC-CW is to promote choice and independence through personalized education, advocacy, and access to services that prevent, delay, and lessen the impact of aging and disabilities in the lives of adults. Position Summary: Employee will work 13.25 hours per week at the Elcho Community Center Employee will oversee day to day details related to Senior Dining and Meals on Wheels services including assurance of food safety/sanitation, accepting prepared food from caterer, packaging food in individual servings and organizing for deliveries in collaboration with volunteers, assisting with recruitment and training of volunteers, creating meal and supply orders. This position may occasionally fill in to deliver meals as needed. The employee will work closely with agency partners, co-workers, volunteers, and the public, requiring effective communication skills. Hours of work: 8:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday + travel to Antigo office once weekly
