JOB SUMMARY: To promote the mission of PATH to help individuals achieve a more independent and fulfilling life by managing an effective team to provide quality services. Responsible for the overall supervision of assigned residential sites and assumes responsibility for the entire BH Adult Residential Program in the absence of the BH Adult Residential Program Director.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Behavioral Health Discipline
  • At least 3 years of experience in the provision of behavioral health treatment and/or rehabilitation
  • Active Driver’s license and personal car required.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage assigned residential sites within the BH Residential Program
  • Maintain and enforce compliance with Title 55 PA Code Chapter 5310: Community Residential Rehabilitation Services and Philadelphia DBH requirements
  • Interview and evaluate individuals for entry into the program as assigned by the Program Director
  • Overall admission of residents, assignment of residents to residential counselors and discharge of residents from assigned sites
  • Ensure individuals gain access to needed psychiatric, medical, social, residential, financial and other services appropriate for the individual
  • Ensure consultation with the psychiatrist and all other members of each individual's treatment team
  • Chair weekly scheduling meeting with site supervisors to ensure appropriate staff coverage at all residential sites within the program
  • Assist program director in ensuring Adult BH Residential supervisory staff availability 24 hours/7 days a week to provide advice to residential staff which includes responding to phone calls within 10 minutes and providing face to face intervention as indicated to resolve a crisis
  • Monitor assigned residential sites to ensure health and safety of residents
  • Meet DBH occupancy standards for all assigned sites and graduation criteria for sites assigned these criteria
  • Schedule opportunities for residents to engage in community integration activities
  • Coordinate concurrent reviews with DBH and members of each resident's treatment team on a regular basis
  • Manage petty cash and other financial resources specific to assigned sites
  • Review lease contracts and obtain and monitor financial information for each resident of the Adult BH Residential Program
  • Communicate any changes in resident's income and room and board amounts to the fiscal department
  • Monitor and approve individual resident and/or supervisor request for resident funds when PATH is the representative payee to ensure appropriate utilization of funds at assigned sites
  • Carefully review, follow up, correct and process all incident reports generated by assigned sites in a timely fashion
  • Carefully review, follow up, correct and process all BH Review Committee Minutes generated by assigned sites in a timely fashion
  • Provide direct site supervision in absence of site supervisor
  • Effectively operate the Adult BH Residential Program in the absence of the Program Director
  • Participate in the development of proposals as requested.
