About The Position
Supports Information Security governance, risk management, and compliance processes are implemented within the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree/Equivalent in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
- Five (5) years of experience in information security or governance risk and compliance environment.
- Must be detailed orientated and have good organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Monitors and reports on internal compliance against external regulations and industry standards.
- Independently performs risk assessments, oversight, enforcement, and reporting activities to meet enterprise-wide information requirements.
- Analyze data to identify trends and potential areas of risk within systems.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to governance, risk, and compliance activities.
- Provides recommendations to highly complex issues and guidance to those in less senior positions.
- Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
