Mosaic Medical Center in Saint Joseph, MO is seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Provider for a full-time role in our Oncology Clinic. Practice Details: 100% Outpatient Robust multidisciplinary team with pharmacists, care manager, dietician, social workers, surgeons, radiologists, and palliative care experts Deliver dedicated outreach care with weekly travel to Atchison, KS Shared weekday evening call coverage 1 – 2 times per week CoC Accreditation QOPI Certification

Requirements

  • Successful completion of an APRN master’s nursing degree or graduate of accredited PA program
  • Current Missouri license preferred or the ability to obtain licensure
  • Current DEA licensure
  • Strong internal medicine knowledge
  • Successful completion of a CNS or APRN master’s degree in a nursing program in the specialty area or must demonstrate successful completion of a formal post-graduate track or accredited program (within the specialty area) within a school of nursing granted graduate-level academic credit (e.g. graduate, non-matriculating program)
  • Licensed in state of Missouri or Kansas, depending upon designated work location. Must be currently certified by a nationally recognized certifying body acceptable to the Missouri or Kansas State Board of Nursing as well as hold and maintain a current Document of Recognition
  • Possess ability to work independently/autonomously and interdependently with other health care professionals
  • Have extensive patient assessment skills using diagnostic methods and instruments with the ability to develop appropriate care plans, modifying as indicated
  • Possess effective communication skills and interpersonal skills with patients, families and members of the health care team
