How you’ll contribute Own the process from program to production: enter G-code or use conversational programming, set zeros and references, and tune offsets and compensation. Execute efficient setups with minimal assistance—install/adjust tools, attachments, collets, bushings, and stops; indicate parts and verify alignment. Study work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, and material specifications to meet schedule commitments. Oversee drilling, grooving, turning, and facing; measure frequently, troubleshoot malfunctions, edit programs, and swap worn tooling to restore capability. Perform preventive maintenance, follow OEM guidance, and report repair issues quickly. Coach fellow machinists on production methods, programming practices, maintenance, and troubleshooting for consistent, accurate output. Capture your work: complete production and quality logs; document actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs for seamless shift handoffs.
