About The Position

The candidate would be responsible for aerodynamics design and analysis of Turbine components in the Legacy Engines, APU & Adv Tech Turbine group. The scope of the work will include generation of new Turbine gas-path and airfoil designs from conception through detailed design, support turbine hardware fabrication, support engine and rig testing, data reduction and validation of analysis models. In addition, the candidate would participate in teams which support internally and externally funded research programs with the emphasis of improving Turbine Aerodynamics technology. Experience in conducting multi-stage steady and unsteady CFD analysis using commercial codes is desirable. The candidates should also have the ability to be a part of a team to resolve complex engineering problems and have effective listening skills and flexibility in approach to resolve complex engineering problems.
