Founded in 1949, we are a thriving private dermatology practice with 23 providers across four East Metro clinic locations. The Advanced Practice Esthetician provides a wide array of services to patients who desire specialized medical skin care services of the highest quality while also recommending professional skin care products and regimens to restore a patient’s skin to optimal health. An Esthetician in our practice will provide services including; facials, chemical peels, microneedling, microdermabrasion, hair removal and other services. The Esthetician is responsible for developing an effective referral network with medical providers and outside networks.

Requirements

  • Current Advanced Practice Esthetician licensure in MN; Salon Manager License required within 30 days of hire
  • 2-4 years of experience as an esthetician.
  • Experience working in a medical or clinic setting preferred.
  • Demonstrated advanced skills and technical knowledge to safely provide esthetic and laser treatments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional and mature demeanor with ability to relate to all internal and external customers and build relationships with clinic staff, physicians, and clientele
  • Computer and keyboarding skills required to create documents, employ the Electronic Health Record system, scheduling, and inventory systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a medical or clinic setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide skin care services including clinical facial treatments, dermaplaning, microneedling, Diamond Glow dermalinfusion, chemical peels, extraction services, PRP facials, waxing, etc.
  • Provide skin care consultations to patients to identify skin care needs and recommend professional skin care products, regimens and treatments
  • Perform laser treatments
  • Perform CoolSculpting Elite body sculpting treatments as needed
  • Keep up-to-date on new skin care products; research products and services and make recommendations to the cosmetic committee
  • Maintain inventory of products and supplies
  • Actively market and promote the treatments, services and products of the practice
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, staff and vendors
  • Coordinate and participate in special events
  • Follow all organizational, state and federal guidelines for safety, sanitation and sterilization to ensure a safe environment
