How You Will Make an Impact: We are seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP)—either a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) licensed in Texas—who is passionate about neurology and focused on traumatic brain injury (TBI) care. In this role, you will be an integral part of our neurology team, collaborating closely with neurologists to evaluate patients, manage TBI-related neurological conditions, and help improve symptoms, function, and overall quality of life.

Requirements

  • Active Texas NP or PA license in good standing.
  • 2+ years of experience in neurology.
  • Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Efficient time management in a busy clinic setting.
  • Timely completion of patient charting and documentation.

Nice To Haves

  • Verbal and written Spanish skills are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments, including detailed medical histories, neurological examinations, and cognitive or functional evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting neurological conditions, incorporating evidence-based therapies to manage symptoms and improve function.
  • Educate patients and families about neurological disorders, treatment options, symptom management, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term neurological health.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Clearly and effectively communicate with patients, medical assistants, and other healthcare providers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
