The UnityPoint Clinic team is known for excellence and quality patient care putting patients at the center of their care to provide the best level of health and well-being. .3 FTE- 1–12-hour shift per week Viking road location with 2 providers Concierge urgent care model Clinic open 8am-8pm x 365 days per year Weekend and holiday rotation 1 weekend every three weeks Required to work 1 Summer and 1 Winter holiday No call requirements Work with experience staff No appointments necessary Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Board Certified
- Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of IA
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
- Eligible to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years of experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide medical treatment for minor illnesses and injures
- Excellent assessment skills
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Provide high quality care to all ages
- Offers select diagnostic tests (x-ray, lab, etc.)
- Prescribe treatment, refer patients for follow up care, and educate patients
