About The Position

Join our Outpatient Heme Malignancy Team at MSK Westchester in West Harrison, NY as an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients! In this role, you'll deliver top-tier, comprehensive care while supporting our skilled proceduralist team with bone marrow aspirations, biopsies and lumbar punctures. Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited PA program
  • NCCPA certification
  • Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
  • A minimum of 1 year of outpatient or inpatient Malignant Hematology experience is preferred
  • Experience with bone marrow biopsy and lumbar punctures is helpful
  • Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations
  • Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
  • Related National NP certification
  • A minimum of 1 year of outpatient or inpatient Malignant Hematology experience is preferred
  • Experience with bone marrow biopsy and lumbar punctures is helpful
  • Proven ability to make timely and effective decisions that drive organizational success and keep operations moving forward.
  • Skilled at working effectively in environments with complex and sometimes conflicting information, maintaining focus and clarity.
  • Adept at organizing and prioritizing tasks to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals, ensuring efficient and effective workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Capable of independently managing clinic operations while effectively coordinating with physicians to provide comprehensive care for outpatient heme malignancy patients, including meeting their medical needs and contributing to patient education and clinical support initiatives.
