About The Position

You can join this nationwide network through the West Coast Kidney Institute, which is seeking passionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join their team. Although previous nephrology experience is preferred, APP candidates must have a strong background in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Emergency Room, MedSurg, or ICU. The ideal candidate will be ready to learn and hit the ground running in this high demand group! Competitive Hiring Package: Hiring range of $72-$82/hr depending on experience 1 week of CME per year – CME registration, travel, and lodging covered by practice Comprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Wellness, 401(k); PTO and much more Schedule/Practice Details: No weekend or call coverage is expected Responsible for capturing dialysis unit patients (billed under the physician) May have their own panel of clinic patients, but the majority will be collaborating with physicians to alternate care Hospital-rounding will be with attending Nephrologist Qualifications: Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Competencies in advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis, planning, and managing care including pharmacotherapeutics. Provide nursing expertise in diagnosis and treatment to prevent, remediate, or alleviate illness and promote health, thus, resulting in improved patient outcomes. Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status including state of wellness, and compliance with care recommendations. Requirements

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
