About The Position

As an Advanced Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will support the Supplier
Readiness Mechanical Valuestream (Mech VS). The Project Engineering team works
closely with the matrixed Component Design group covering Design, Materials &
Stress Engineering. The Project Engineering team directly supports the Mech VS
Leaders & Program Managers developing strategies and supporting the execution of
Supplier Transition objectives.

Supplier Readiness is a part of Honeywell Corporate Supplier Excellence strategy
and one of Honeywell Aerospace’s Top priorities. Supplier Readiness focusses on
exit suppliers, high impact past due parts and dual source parts. Insource, new
suppliers and second source of supply will be utilized to achieve key metrics
covering part dual sourcing. The Supplier Readiness Team construction is a
cross functional Engineering and ISC Team with dedicated full-time resources.

You will report directly to our Project Engineering Manager, and you’ll work
out of our South Bend, IN location on a Hybrid work schedule.
