Job Summary The Advanced Specialist/Service Specialist is a cross‑trained Lube Technician who performs advanced maintenance services to ensure vehicle safety. They rotate between roles as needed to support customers and store operations, using comprehensive in‑house training to meet a wide range of service needs.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of automotive service experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Commitment to safety policies and procedures
  • Willingness to learn and grow through on‑the‑job training
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50+ lbs.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, crawl, and climb stairs
  • Comfortable working in enclosed or semi‑outdoor environments
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • ASE certification preferred.
  • Retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide unbiased service recommendations based on manufacturer guidelines and technician findings.
  • Deliver efficient, safety‑first customer service.
  • Perform automotive maintenance and repairs across engine, transmission, steering/suspension, brakes, electrical, HVAC, tires, batteries, and spark plugs.
  • Complete preventive services including oil changes, fluid checks, light replacements, and wiper installations.
  • Participate in on‑site and online training; maintain compliance with Jiffy Lube, OSHA, and state regulations.
  • Support marketing events and promotions.
  • Maintain customer records, inventory logs, and restock supplies.
  • Perform basic housekeeping and minor facility maintenance.
  • Build customer loyalty by ensuring quality workmanship, reviewing completed services, and confirming satisfaction.
