Job Description Summary: The Advisor of Business Operations – FDC reports to the Director of Business Operations for all FDC and participates in the development of the FDC central operational strategy and is accountable for leading and supporting the central operations of all FDC business units. The Advisor of Business Operations establishes, drives, supervises and coordinates multiple activities, including: administration and continuous improvement of our FDC business platforms (CMS (by FSI), eBuilder, ATG, VEOCI, STRATA), development of KPI’s and performance & managerial reporting, variance analysis and countermeasure development, administration of FDC Lean Daily Management process, project management, strategic decision-making process (goal deployment), and budget support. In addition, this person will be the central data analytics hub for the described goal of operational excellence. The Advisor of Business Operations will work in close collaboration with FDC Executive Leadership, Care Site Executive Leadership, directors & managers, Physician Leadership, Service Line Leadership, and matrixed departments to facilitate progress toward strategic and operational goals.

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years’ experience, or equivalent leadership experience.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for execution of major system level strategic and operations project work (system level construction, capital, facilities, process improvement, CARF, etc.). Provides project leadership, consultation, and implementation to execute new projects/programs and major enhancements to system level programs. Coordinates with Facilities, Property Management, Real Estate and Design and Construction teams across the system with the ability to monitor progress and identify potential barriers to success.
  • Provides operations and business platform support. Drive highest utilization of RECF business systems, maximizing benefit & potential. Monitors and reports on monthly division level trends. Collaborates with leaders to develop countermeasures for any variances in performance.
  • Collaborates with management to develop appropriate staffing models for operational roles within RECF. Utilize data-driven and industry wide benchmarks to support leadership in reevaluate staffing needs and reducing reliance on 3rd-party vendors. Coordinates workforce planning and talent management initiatives for frontline staff across the system.
  • Champions the application of standard work for administrative processes that impact maintenance responsibilities, real estate, and property management functions. Includes development of standard work and communication plans in partnership with operations, finance, and campus operations.
  • Partners with RECF Business Office to drive highest utilization of RECF business systems, maximizing benefit and potential.
  • Responsible for supervision (formal or informal) of associates through interactions with RECF Leadership and cross line of business resources to deliver on programs. Coaches and mentors team members on execution and communication plans of system level initiatives. Leads through influence with accountable leads of RECF business platforms.
