About The Position

Come join our team! We have an immediate need for an Aesthetician in our Fort Lauderdale, FL clinic! The Aesthetician performs, explains, and schedules cosmetic procedures, consults, and treatment regimens regarding select treatments available at Forefront Dermatology. This position actively promotes/sells cosmetic products, pricing, and services. Actively promotes/sells cosmetic products and services. Performs, explains, and schedules select cosmetic consults and treatments per protocols. Provide appropriate patient education and after care instructions. Provide recommendations for cosmetic service enhancements and implements approved plans within specified timeframes. Assist with development of advertising and promotional materials. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited esthetician program or commensurate experience.
  • Proficiency in basic computer functions and keyboarding is required.
  • Ability to learn new software quickly and operate standard office equipment is required.
  • Ability to understand physician’s instructions and know when to seek additional information or clarification is required.
  • Demonstrates professional appearance and manner at all times.
  • Ability to display a friendly cheerful, tactful and polite demeanor and compassionate caring in dealing with others is required.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of related experience in a medical office or spa setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all cosmetic discussions regarding all available cosmetic treatment options available.
  • Responsible for aftercare instructions, relaying information between the doctor and the patient and from the patient to the doctor and schedule appropriate follow up and treatments.
