About The Position

The Affiliate Distribution Intern (Graduate School) will assist with licensing agreements related to linear and app distribution and FAST agreements, and all other duties related to such partnerships, during Summer 2026. This is internship is located onsite in Watertown, MA, open to PT or FT hours. Nights and weekends may be required. NESN (New England Sports Network) is owned by Fenway Sports Group, which also owns the Boston Red Sox and Pittsburgh Penguins among other holdings, and Delaware North, owners of the Boston Bruins. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time graduate or MBA or JD student.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational and time management abilities
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Interest in sports media, and content distribution.

Responsibilities

  • Review all licensing documents and provide feedback throughout renewal/negotiation process
  • Develop presentations
  • Support terrestrial affiliate feed operations (e.g., DMAs, dual programming, distributor NOC engagements)
  • Support suite hosting duties at network suites
  • Support marketing and promotional activities of the network through use of available affiliate resources
  • Engage with distribution partners as required
