About The Position

The applicant will work on data analysis and manuscript preparation, evaluating the effects of predation selective environment on cognition and learning in the tropical fish Brachyrhaphis rhabdophora. It is anticipated that this position will last for between 6 months and one year.

Requirements

  • B.S. The required degree must be completed by the start date.
  • The applicant should be proficient in statistical analyses in R (using R studio) and should be capable of writing scientific manuscripts.
  • Prior experience conducting research on behavior in poeciliid fishes is mandatory.
  • This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
  • All new employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be required to hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
  • All employees are required to abide by the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards.
