About The Position

Summary/Objective Responsible for field level execution of Ag Technologies including strategic vision, assisting with retail location and grower customer adoption and engagement. Essential Functions Works with assigned GPAH retail locations on implementation and growth of precision ag technologies using the AccuField platform. Assist locations in adding value to their business portfolio by incorporating precision ag technology solutions into their customer service model. Assist locations and the ag technology team in support of custom application equipment, sustainability initiatives, and other programs pertinent to the marketplace. Works through locations to provide grower customers with farm-level, ag technologies expertise and execution. Provides timely execution on directives and initiatives from Ag Technologies leadership. Provides adequate and clear communication to growers, location staff, and Ag Tech team concerning job tasks, projects, execution, and timing. Provides excellent customer service and support of AccuField at all times. Encourages collaboration and teamwork with agronomy counterparts where applicable. Represents GreenPoint Ag’s Ag Technologies in a professional manner at all times. Perform all other job functions as assigned. Supervisor Responsibilities May supervise interns on an intermittent basis, as applicable Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Biosystems, Engineering or other related field OR 2 years post-secondary education with 4 years’ on-the-job experience in agronomy technology or precision agriculture-related field Skill Level I – Entry level; works under supervision of manager Skill Level II – Recognized locally; works without supervision with direction from manager Skill Level III (future) – Recognized throughout state; provides direction for program in region Skill Level IV (future) – Recognized regionally (multi-state); responsible for direction of program in region and contributing to overall direction of the program Skill Level V (future) – Recognized across regions (multi-state); responsible for direction of program Aptitude for continuous learning and growth as well as effective communication skills are imperative Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong agronomy technology and precision agriculture background preferred Strong work ethic, interpersonal skills, and creativity Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities Experience in AgGIS or GIS systems Ability to work through technology strategies, both retail and customer focused Well-developed interpersonal and organizational skills Detail-oriented, highly motivated and self-starter skills Ability to work on multiple tasks and/or projects. Experience with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) Current driver’s license; must be able to meet a Motor Vehicle Review in accordance with Company policy Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in both indoor and outside work environments. Frequently exposed to extreme cold and hot temperatures, wet or humid conditions and outdoor weather conditions. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to stand, talk, and hear. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. The employee is also regularly required to walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Biosystems, Engineering or other related field OR 2 years post-secondary education with 4 years’ on-the-job experience in agronomy technology or precision agriculture-related field
