Primary Objectives of the Position: This position is responsible for invoicing, managing bookings and prepays, inventory management, reconcilating reports, performing data entry, answering phone calls and providing customer service to agronomy customers. Ensures accurate and efficient processing of agronomy transactions. Provides administrative support to sales team and company management. Major Areas of Accountability: Invoice, record and reconcile purchases, sales and inventory transactions in the accounting system. Take payments from customers. Process and help manage bookings and prepays. Input shipment data for both in house and direct locations. Make chemical delivery tickets. Data entry into various programs to track and report daily activity. Assist in the end of month process. Provide customer service by person, phone, and electronically. Provide administrative support to agronomy account managers. Maintain up to date customer information. Electronically file accounting documents. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. Stay informed about industry developments, market trends, and regulatory changes affecting agronomy accounting practices. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in agronomy accounting procedures. Attend appropriate training sessions. Other duties and projects as assigned.
