Department Nursing Education Job Summary The American Heart Association (AHA) Instructor – BLS, ACLS, and PALS is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction for AHA certification and renewal courses including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). The instructor ensures courses are delivered according to current AHA guidelines and Training Center standards. This position works closely with the AHA Training Center Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and successful implementation of all AHA educational programs. Responsibilities include assisting with course logistics, equipment management, instructor support, and ensuring compliance with AHA and organizational policies. The role requires strong teaching ability, clinical knowledge, and the ability to engage learners in hands-on resuscitation training.
