About The Position

The AI Prompt Engineer / AI Agent Developer will design, develop, and optimize AI-driven solutions, including crafting effective prompts for large language models (LLMs) and building AI agents to automate tasks and improve operational efficiency. This position interacts with various departments within Hunt Electric to identify requirements, define project scope, and implement innovative AI solutions. A high degree of technical expertise, creativity, and attention to detail is required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science or related field
Advanced Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar
Experience working with large language models (e.g., OpenAI GPT, Claude, Bard) and prompt engineering.
Strong understanding of APIs, data integration, and software development principles.
Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain).
Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative approach to designing AI solutions.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and deploying AI solutions at scale.
Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) techniques and tools.
Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., RPA, Zapier, UiPath).
Prior experience in the construction, electrical, or technology industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, test, and refine prompts to optimize the performance of large language models (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).
Build, deploy, and maintain AI agents capable of automating tasks, answering queries, and improving operational workflows.
Integrate AI agents with APIs, databases, and other software systems to create seamless solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven innovation and translate business needs into technical requirements.
Stay up-to-date with advancements in AI/ML technologies and apply them to real-world use cases.
Document processes, workflows, and best practices for AI prompt engineering and agent development.
Provide training and support to team members on AI tools and solutions.
Ensure outputs meet the required standards and agreed-upon deadlines.
