About The Position

At Cadence, we hire and develop leaders and innovators who want to make an impact on the world of technology. AI / Agentic AI / GenAI Intern – IT We are looking for an intern to join our AI / Agentic AI / GenAI team in IT at our San Jose HQ location for six months. As this internship is expected to continue into the Fall semester, only local students from nearby Universities will be considered. The IT intern will work on building agentic AI–based solutions and GenAI applications to improve IT productivity through automation, AI assistants, and intelligent workflows.

Requirements

• Current student enrolled in BS or MS with major in CS or equivalent
• Strong Python , coding, and analytical skills
• Experience with data handling (Pandas / NumPy / Excel)
• Experience with Generative AI and Agentic AI
• Good communication and documentation skills

Nice To Haves

• ML/NLP basics
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft/GitHub Copilot, Google AI and Anthropic AI stacks.
