We’re looking for a forward-thinking AI Automation Engineer to join our Data Engineering (Services) team. In this role, you’ll build the brains and tooling that help our support engineers work faster, smarter, and with greater confidence. Your mission is to operationalize Generative AI across our Managed Services workflows. You’ll design, build, and deploy AI agents, automation scripts, and intelligent pipelines that eliminate repetitive work, improve code quality, and accelerate troubleshooting of complex database issues. You’ll also leverage modern agentic coding tools (such as Claude Code and Google Antigravity) to rapidly prototype, iterate, and ship impactful solutions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in HR technology, HR consulting, SaaS consulting, or HR operations with system exposure
  • Hands-on experience implementing or supporting HRIS / HCM platforms (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, UKG, ADP, Oracle HCM, BambooHR)
  • Strong understanding of HR functional domains including performance, compensation and pay equity Ability to translate business HR needs into system requirements (requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis)
  • Proven experience working directly with clients or internal stakeholders
  • Ability to run discovery sessions, document requirements, and present recommendations
  • Experience with HR data, reporting, and analytics (KPIs, dashboards, data validation)
  • Clear, structured communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Language Skills: fluent English and French
  • Programming: Strong proficiency in Python (automating workflows, building backend logic).
  • AI & LLM Integration: Solid understanding of Prompt Engineering and experience integrating LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) into applications.
  • LLM Ops: Managing observability, measuring performance, feedback loops, and reliability of AI agents and automation tasks.
  • Agentic Workflows: Demonstrated ability to use AI-assisted coding tools effectively (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Antigravity) to accelerate development.
  • Data & Databases: Deep knowledge of SQL (you must understand query structures and SQL Engine inner workings to automate their optimization). SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB are preferred ones.
  • Experience with Vector Databases (e.g., ChromaDB, Milvus, Weaviate) for RAG implementations.
  • Software Engineering and Development Practices: Good knowledge of development tools and languages, proficiency with Git for version control, collaborative development, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Integration: Strong experience working with REST APIs.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with LLM token economics and cost optimization strategies, as well as understanding of model limitations (context windows, rate limits).
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps (pipelines, boards, repos).
  • Background in Managed Services, Technical Support, SRE (Site Reliability Engineering), or Solutions Engineering.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Identify high-friction, manual workflows and replace them with GenAI-enabled automation.
  • Design and build custom AI agents and scripts that enhance Managed Services operations.
  • Create specialized agents that analyze slow SQL queries and recommend performance improvements, indexes, or query refactors.
  • Build automated pipelines that review SQL code for best practices, security risks, and logical issues before deployment.
  • Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems using vector databases so teams can instantly query internal documentation and historical incident data.
  • Develop scripts that automatically generate clear, comprehensive technical documentation for existing codebases and support processes.
  • Integrate internal tools and third-party platforms via APIs to create seamless, end-to-end automated workflows.
