The team partners closely with hiring managers and department leaders to understand workforce needs, create effective recruitment strategies, and ensure a positive and inclusive candidate experience. Talent Acquisition oversees the full recruitment lifecycle—from job posting and applicant screening to interview coordination and offer management. The department also plays a key role in employer branding, talent pipeline development, internship programming, and ensuring hiring processes align with organizational values and compliance standards. Through collaborative partnership and strategic talent initiatives, Talent Acquisition helps build a strong, high‑performing workforce that supports the bank’s mission and culture. Position Overview The HR Operations Intern will support enterprise HR process optimization with a focus on automation, self-service opportunities, and leveraging Microsoft Copilot to build and test real HR use cases. This role will collaborate across HR teams—HRBP’s, L&D, Benefits, HRIS, and TA—to identify automation opportunities and help develop AI supported solutions.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in HR, Business, Data Analytics, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Interest in automation, AI tools, or HR systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple HR teams.

Responsibilities

  • Automation & Self Service Enhancement
  • Evaluate HR workflows (onboarding, offboarding, HR Ops requests, TA processes) to identify automation opportunities
  • Map current-state processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Assist in building or testing automations using tools such as:
  • Microsoft 365 & Copilot
  • Power Automate
  • HR systems (e.g., ADP, iCIMS)
  • Microsoft Copilot Use Case Development
  • Partner with HR leaders to gather real business challenges suitable for AI solutions
  • Draft and test use cases showing how Copilot can improve workflows (e.g., drafting SOPs, summarizing documents, generating reports, answering HR policy questions)
  • Document results, recommended prompts, and best practices in a shared HR knowledge library
  • HR Operations Support
  • Assist with HR documentation, SOP updates, file audits, and tracking process changes
  • Support data validation and reporting needs for TA and HR operations
  • Develop self service resources for employees (FAQs, mini guides, how to content)
  • Cross Functional Collaboration
  • Work with stakeholders across Talent Acquisition, HR Ops, HRIS, Total Rewards, and Learning & Development
  • Participate in working sessions to identify pain points and co design solutions
