About The Position

St Francis Borgia Catholic School, is seeking a caring, dependable, and faith-filled Classroom Aide to support teachers and students in fostering a positive, Christ-centered learning environment. The ideal candidate is patient, collaborative, and committed to the mission of Catholic education, assisting in the academic, social, and spiritual development of students.

Requirements

Strong communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential
Demonstrates a genuine love for working with children and a willingness to collaborate closely with teachers and staff
High school diploma required
Commitment to the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church
Ability to pass required background checks and complete diocesan safe environment training

Nice To Haves

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred
Practicing Catholic preferred

Responsibilities

Support daily instructional activities
Reinforce learning concepts
Provide individualized or small-group assistance
Preparing materials
Supervising students during classroom activities
Supporting diverse learners
Helping maintain a structured and respectful classroom environment
Assisting with classroom organization
Monitoring student behavior in accordance with school policies
Supporting students during transitions, lunch, recess, and school-wide events as needed
Models Christian values in word and action
Contributes positively to the spiritual life of the school community through participation in prayer and school liturgies
