The Engineering Intern will work under the guidance of an experienced engineer to support the full life cycle of the Kodiak aircraft by solving problems, improving processes, and contributing to system and product development. This role offers hands-on experience applying standard engineering practices, using CAD and computer‑aided tools, developing designs with Lean and DFM principles, and collecting and analyzing data to identify trends and discrepancies. The intern will collaborate closely with engineers across multiple disciplines to brainstorm solutions, enhance manufacturing processes, and assist with technical documentation, certification plans, and FAA submissions. They will also create and maintain reports, spreadsheets, and presentations while gaining exposure to various engineering functions through job shadowing in design, manufacturing, and tooling. Designed to help students build practical skills and grow professionally, this internship is ideal for candidates enrolled in an accredited university program who possess strong communication and computer skills, demonstrate initiative and creativity, and are eager to learn, contribute, and thrive in a dynamic aerospace environment.
