About The Position

Aircraft Painter This opportunity is contingent upon award. Award is expected 3.31.26. Description: Performs surface preparation, treatment and painting of components, small aircraft surface areas, aircraft panels, support equipment, or other items as required. Demonstrated ability to precisely apply paint, lacquer, epoxy, resin, or other material using brushes, rollers, spray guns, and other devices. Masks and covers portions of surfaces not to be painted. Working knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques. Must be knowledgeable of military publications, microfilm, and diagrams. Ability to precisely apply vinyl graphics to multiple surfaces, including aircraft.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a paint technician to include painting, maintenance, and finish work.
  • TS/SCI. Yankee White may be required.
  • Working knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques.
  • Must be knowledgeable of military publications, microfilm, and diagrams.
