About The Position
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail‑oriented Airport Project Site Inspector to oversee construction activities across the airfield and airport facilities.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED required; technical coursework preferred.
- Five years of construction or engineering inspection experience.
- Ability to read plans and interpret specifications.
- Strong analytical, computer, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inspections of airport construction projects.
- Ensure contractor compliance with FAA, FDOT, and airport engineering standards.
- Monitor Construction Safety and Phasing Plan (CSPP) elements.
- Verify grades, elevations, and tolerances.
- Review materials, test reports, and as-built documents.
- Prepare inspection reports and document deficiencies.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, Airport Operations, FAA, and FDOT.
- Support NOTAM coordination and airfield closures.
