About The Position

Are you a skilled medical assistant with a passion for helping patients breathe easier and live better? We're seeking an experienced Allergy Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team at our thriving allergy practice. This is your chance to specialize in a rewarding field where you'll see patients transform their lives through effective allergy treatment. Schedule: Mondays & Fridays, 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM Position Type: Part-Time (18-20 hours/week)

Requirements

• 2+ years medical assistant experience (allergy/immunology preferred)
• Must be comfortable with infants and children.
• Proven experience with allergy skin testing and spirometry
• Knowledge of allergy serum preparation and immunotherapy protocols
• Strong understanding of anaphylaxis recognition and emergency response
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification

Responsibilities

• Perform precise allergy skin testing and interpret results
• Conduct spirometry testing with accuracy and care
• Administer allergy shot treatments safely and efficiently
• Monitor patients during treatment and manage any reactions
• Food Challenge protocols
• Warmly greet patients and create a welcoming environment
• Guide patients through check-in and discharge processes
• Provide comprehensive allergy education and lifestyle guidance
• Keep allergy shot patients on track with their treatment schedules
• Answer questions and provide emotional support during treatment journeys
• Open and close clinic efficiently and securely
• Maintain organized, clean treatment areas
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
• Support seamless daily operations
