About The Position

As part of this global team, we are seeking a highly motivated individual to drive research in next-generation bioprocessing using novel alternative host systems. These hosts include microbial strains such as bacteria, yeast, and filamentous fungi, with the goal of enabling high protein expression and reducing the cost of protein production. This role will contribute to the development of new technologies across the bioprocess workflow, including improved screening approaches as well as upstream and downstream processing innovations. Sartorius is one of the world’s leading technology providers to the life sciences and biopharma industries, actively shaping dynamic, innovative, and high-growth markets. To accelerate the creation of breakthrough solutions, Sartorius has established a global Corporate Research initiative focused on identifying emerging trends and cutting-edge opportunities and rapidly translating them into next-generation technology solutions. In summary this role will support collaborations within Corporate Research and across Sartorius in technology assessment leading to new business opportunities.
