About The Position

The Asset Protection Associate is responsible for helping maintain a safe, secure, and enjoyable environment for guests and staff at the water park. This role focuses on conducting bag and personal item checks at park entry points to ensure prohibited, illegal, or unsafe items are not brought into the facility, while providing excellent guest service and upholding company policies.

• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-traffic or stressful situations
• Attention to detail and strong situational awareness
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
• Able to lift and drag up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, reach, stretch, and climb without any difficulty.
• Ability to effectively work at different heights.
• Works in tiring or uncomfortable positions for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Conduct courteous and professional bag and personal item inspections at designated entry points
• Enforce park safety and security policies regarding prohibited items
• Identify and report unsafe, illegal, or restricted items in accordance with company procedures
• Maintain a calm, respectful, and guest-focused approach during all interactions
• Communicate clearly with guests regarding inspection procedures and park rules
• Work closely with operations, safety, and management teams to address security concerns
• Document incidents or escalations as required
• Assist with crowd flow and entry efficiency during peak hours
• Uphold all safety, confidentiality, and company standards
