Responsibilities: - Prepare and set up the breakfast area for guests - Ensure all food items are fresh, properly displayed, and labeled - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the breakfast area - Monitor food inventory and replenish items as needed - Assist guests with any questions or special requests regarding the breakfast offerings - Handle cash transactions and operate the point-o f-sale (POS) system - Collaborate with the banquet and catering teams for special events - Follow food safety guidelines and regulations during food handling and preparation - Assist the cook with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables or preparing salads Skills: - Excellent customer service skills to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner - Strong attention to detail to ensure food quality, presentation, and cleanliness standards are met - Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently - Basic knowledge of food safety practices and regulations - Experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
