This individual will be responsible for morning prep, executing orders on the line, and maintaining consistent food quality throughout the breakfast shift. Strong proficiency in all egg-cooking methods including scrambled, over-easy, poached, and omelets is essential. The perfect candidate is reliable, efficient under pressure, and brings a positive attitude to the kitchen. What will I be doing? As the AM Line Cook, you would be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Strong proficiency in all egg-cooking methods including scrambled, over-easy, poached, and omelets is essential.
  • The perfect candidate is reliable, efficient under pressure, and brings a positive attitude to the kitchen.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
  • Work the breakfast line during service, managing a high volume of orders while maintaining proper timing and presentation.
  • Cook eggs using multiple methods (scrambled, over-easy, poached, omelets, etc.) with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Complete morning prep duties, including ingredient preparation, station setup, and ensuring product freshness.
  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
  • Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products
  • Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
  • Support fellow team members on the kitchen line
  • Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
