About The Position

Madden Industrial Craftsmen , a premier staffing agency, is looking to fill an Amada Turret Punch Operator position with a manufacturing company located in Phoenix, AZ . The client specializes in custom heat exchanger coils, fluid coolers, and remote air-cooled condensers for OEM and replacement markets.

Requirements

1–3+ years of experience operating CNC Turret Punch Press machines ( Amada experience preferred ).
Background in sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing .
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience using precision measuring tools and performing quality inspections.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs , stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen .
Ability to pass a tape measure test .

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor Amada CNC Turret Punch Press machines to produce sheet metal components per specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate punching, forming, and part layout.
Load, unload, and position sheet metal materials, ensuring proper alignment and secure setup.
Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other measuring tools to verify part accuracy.
Make machine adjustments (tooling, offsets, feeds, speeds) to maintain quality and efficiency.
Conduct routine machine checks and basic preventative maintenance; report mechanical issues as needed.
Maintain production records, scrap reports, and quality documentation.
Follow all OSHA and company safety standards to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
