Requirements

  • High School diploma through bachelor’s degree
  • 0-2+ years of industry experience preferred
  • Ability to work in industrial settings & outdoors
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift 20-50lbs
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders
  • Working knowledge of computer software, such as MS Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with proven time management and prioritization skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for understanding field data acquisition principles.
  • Responsible for sample filter setup, retrieval, field processing of samples, and shipment of samples every six days
  • Responsible for performing routine site and instrument checks and as needed maintenance every twelve days or less
  • Assist with EPA PEP and NPAP audits throughout the year
  • Independently and effectively assemble, operate, and trouble shoot ambient air testing equipment every twelve days or less.
  • Ensure project preparation is complete before going into the field; this includes preparation, cleaning procedures, repair, and calibration.
  • Document all data validation activities (e.g., deletions, edits, calibration factors, instrument repair, audits)
  • Practice safety methods and procedures, and report all potential dangers, hazards, or unsafe work practices to supervisor.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all clients.
  • Maintain and use all required PPE
  • Assist with laboratory, shop and equipment maintenance.
