Job Summary Responsible for maintaining, validating, and analyzing data across billing and operational systems to ensure accurate and timely customer invoicing. Supports billing operations by building, executing, and testing commercial events including product, rate, pricing, and messaging changes, and by managing change requests in accordance with governance requirements. Additionally, this role performs telecom invoice validation and cost analysis, ensuring accurate vendor billing, reconciling carrier charges, identifying cost‑saving opportunities, and supporting financial accountability across carrier relationships. Partners cross‑functionally to resolve system or data issues, maintain billing and cost integrity, and ensure accurate vendor payment processes. Works with moderate guidance in area of expertise. Job Description Core Responsibilities: Telecom Invoice Validation and Payment Processing: Performs monthly carrier cost analysis to support cost reduction initiatives. Ensure timely and accurate delivery on invoice submission to facilitate on-time vendor payments. Manage vendor relationships and review contractual agreements to ensure optimal service delivery and cost-effectiveness. Conduct supplier reconciliations to ensure all costs are correctly being passed through to the customer while making sure that any cost movements are understood and where appropriate escalated and challenged. Analysts compare standard costs against actual cost for a given period in order to identify and report conditions subject to improvement. Analysts may perform cost allocation operations to provide basic information required for budgeting, accounting, and collection of service data for further cost analysis. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience of working in a Finance/Operational Finance related role.
  • Ability to influence and effect change with a varied group of stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with and tenacious in ensuring that project deadlines are adhered to, with the ability to challenge the business to ensure minimal leakage while maximizing the positive impact on the current year’s performance.
  • Strong Excel skills – including experience of creating and using Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP's.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience of interacting across all levels of the organization including dealing with non-finance colleagues and external stakeholders to gather relevant information.
  • Experience of fostering strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of and the ability to utilize advance functions like Power Query as well as BI software such as Tableau and Power BI would be advantageous.
  • Experience of interpreting and handling large datasets from various sources would be advantageous.
